SHINDIG THEATRE CO.

SHINDIG Theatre Company is a bold, scrappy experimental theatre group staging raw, intimate performances in unexpected spaces. Blending minimalist aesthetics with a playful punk rock spirit, SHINDIG reimagines the idea of a "get-together" — where fresh storytelling, music, and movement collide. Think barn rave meets black box, always with a rotating cast of creatives of varying disciplines, all sharing the same thread of deep love for communal, intimate, and fully alive performances.

Our shows blur the norm— usually in more ways than one, fusing theatre, movement, live music, and visual storytelling to create moments that feel both wildly intimate and electrically alive.

At SHINDIG, we embrace work that resists easy definition and demands to be experienced live in the room with others. SHINDIG is a home for the new, the now, and the not-quite-so-common.

We collaborate with young up and coming writers, choreographers, composers, designers, and performers to develop work that is urgent, experimental, and always deeply human. Our process is scrappy, hands-on, and collaborative — and has the spirit of a true one of a kind shindig — where artists are invited to take bold risks, and see what happens. Where artists jump, and are caught.

If it’s fresh and fearless, it’s probably a SHINDIG.
